Vacuum trucks operating with liquid ring vacuum pumps are typically equipped with a Water Separator, a key component designed to recycle water within the system. By recovering and reusing water, operators benefit from reduced operational costs and a minimized environmental footprint. Here’s how it works: The Water Separator features three connection points. From the pump’s discharge, a mixture of water and air flows into the separator. Inside, the air and water are separated; the air is discharged into the environment, while the water is recycled back to the water tank. Not a single drop is wasted, as all water is captured by the DripStop and efficiently returned to the tank. As a result, close to 100% separation efficiency is achieved.
